Q: How do I get my quilt to you?
A: There are two ways to get your quilt to us:
-
Drop it in: We are located in Riverhead, Auckland. If you’re local, you can deliver your quilt to us in person and discuss your requirements with us. We are happy to assist you with selecting quilting designs, thread colors, and other options to bring your vision to life.
-
Mail-in service: If you’re not local, or prefer to use our mail-in service, you can package your quilt securely and send it to us. We recommend using a reliable courier with tracking to ensure safe delivery. When we receive your quilt, we email you to let you know. Once our work is completed we return your quilt to you via tracked courier service, free of charge.
To make life even easier, for a small fee, you can request a self-addressed courier bag from us for you to send us your quilt top. Then all you need to do is package your quilt top and drop it off at a NZ Post location that’s convenient to you.
Q: What is your turnaround time?
A: On average, our turnaround time is 2-4 weeks, but please note that it may vary due to workload, mechanical issues etc. We will provide you with an estimated completion date when you submit your quilt, and we will make every effort to complete your quilt in a timely manner.
Q: How will I be notified when my quilt is completed?
A: Once your quilt is completed, we will notify you via email to let you know your quilt is on its way back to you, including your courier tracking number.
Q: Can I request a rush service for my quilt?
A: Yes, we offer priority service providing a guaranteed 1-week (or sooner) turnaround for an additional fee. This turnaround is from the time we receive your quilt until it ships out. If you need your quilt to be completed within a shorter timeframe, please contact us directly to discuss your needs.
Q: What happens if my quilt has issues, such as waviness, or is not square?
A: If your quilt has issues, such as “waves”, or is not square, we will do our best to accommodate and address these issues during the longarm quilting process. We may need to adjust the quilt top, backing, or batting to ensure a smooth and even quilting result. In some cases, we may contact you to discuss options for addressing the issues and seek your approval before proceeding.
